SOMETHING ROTTEN HALF KEY ART_4C_edited_

WRITTEN BY JOHN O'FARRELL AND KAREY KIRKPATRICK

MUSIC AND LYRICS BY KAREY AND WAYNE KIRKPATRICK

Now playing at the Briggs Opera House- the hilarious and joyful Something Rotten!  Something Rotten! delighted audiences on Broadway in 2015 and garnered seven Tony nominations. Christian Borle won a Tony as Best Actor that year with his turn as the Renaissance rock star, William Shakespeare.

Time Out New York hailed it as the funniest musical in 400 years. A mash-up of 16th century Shakespeare and 21st century Broadway, this musical farce is filled with word play, musical, historical and Shakespeare references. Come and laugh with us about the creation of the world's first musical.  Tickets are on sale now.

We the People Theatre is a community theatre group whose mission is to mount quality productions that inspire conversation in the community. We welcome all theatre artists to be part of our productions.  If you are a theatre artist, we'd love to get to know you.  Please reach out and we will add you to our mailing list for all future activities.

COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS

For each production we invite the community into a conversation with us about the play.  Whether we are talking about our dreams for our community and each other or the value of work in our lives or what it means to live in a democracy, these conversations are always lively.

We the People Theatre is thrilled to be returning to the stage this fall with All Together Now, a celebration of local theatre.  Created by Music Theatre International, this review features some of the most well-known and beloved songs in the musical theatre canon. We have a large cast of local performers who will joyously come together to create magic and celebrate being together on stage, with an audience.  This review is being presented at thousands of theatres around the world on the same weekend in November.

Performance dates are-

Friday, November 12 at 8:00 PM

Saturday, November 13 at 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM

Sunday, November 14 at 3:00 PM at the Briggs Opera House.
