To some, the story of Man of La Mancha is  about a “cockeyed optimist’” charging through the world making a fool of himself and singing songs about “impossible” dreams. Yet, just below the surface is the real story of a man who knows that true despair is to live in a world that you believe is hopeless, broken, unfixable, and meaningless.

The play doesn’t promise us that our “Impossible Dream” will come true but it does  show us that, no matter our circumstances, having an “Impossible Dream” gives our lives meaning and purpose.

Perhaps we need Man of La Mancha more than ever in these times of upheaval.  We the People's past productions have sold out.  Don't let that be you.

Man of La Mancha will be presented at the Briggs Opera House in downtown White River Junction, VT.

5 S. Main Street, White River Junction, VT
