ABOUT US

We the People Theatre presents thought-provoking, inspirational theatre with the mission of engaging our community in meaningful conversations. We believe these conversations can motivate us all to make the world a better place. With 1776, we asked our audiences to reflect on what it means to be a citizen and to live in a democracy. With Working, we invited them to celebrate the meaning of work and its impact on our community and our world.
This year, with our production of Man of La Mancha, we shift focus to consider the power of hope and optimism even in the darkest of circumstances. This play challenges us to recognize our own power in shaping our reality. It inspires us to imagine a brighter future.
“When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies? Too much sanity may be madness. Perhaps to be practical is madness.
And maddest of all, is to see life as it is and not as it ought to be.”
Don Quixote
Don Quixote’s message of hope is as timely as ever. Whether through the lens of world events or concerns close to home, we all want to believe in a brighter future. Man of La Mancha shows us the way.
Man of La Mancha is presented by arrangement with Tams-Witmark. www.tamswitmark.com.
This production will be presented at the Briggs Opera House in downtown White River Junction, VT.
